36 weeks, 4 days.
I am feeling so huge. Every time I stand up, it’s like… Jesus, am I seriously expected to carry that much more weight on my feet? The weight of Small Monster and his home is really that surprising to me every time I have to move.
I feel like a hippo. (N.B.: No comments from you, Mr. Fairbairn…)
My feet ache before I get up in the morning, and before I go to bed at night.
Whine, whine, whine.
Come on, Little Monster… don’t you think, say, Saturday is a great day to greet the world?
(You know what this means… it means this kid will not show up anytime before 5 weeks from Saturday, his latest allowable date of entry into the world…)
I start weekly OB appointments next week, which undoubtedly means those dreaded checks which haven’t happened since I was about 8 weeks pregnant. You know what checks I’m talking about, ladies. Blecch.

Hey Krista – on the assumption that things might kick off early and I don’t want to miss the opportunity – I hope labour is more fun than you’re expecting and that everything goes really smoothly! I’ll be thinking of you when the updates pause! Bon chance!
Thanks James
That means a lot to me
Hope all is well with you and your family – how’s your sister doing?
Everything is nominal! She’s working until T-14 days, which seems keen to me, but so far everything is perfect
Thanks for asking!
Maybe small monster will dislike all the activity in his domain and make an appearance next week. My little dude did!
God I hope so
