36 weeks, 1 day.
So today was the perinatologist appointment.
And what do you know, Small Monster is yeah, ok, a little big (especially his head, full of brains!), but the doctor said that there was no reason to think this kid would need a C-section based on size and that everything looked very very good!
He’s not nearly as much more enormous than he should be as he seemed at 30 weeks (or at my appointments afterward), so it looks like we’re headed for the long, hard birth with not getting sliced open, if all else goes well!
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy!
And in bonus news, the kid is head-down, not posterior (but is instead turned to the side as he should be), and he’s down low.
All good signs

(In other news, the doctor isn’t worried about the abdominal thing, just wants me to take it easy. I have, and it’s been much less painful today!)
