Cleanin’ up my feeds

Oh, I feel so organized. After forever and a day of using my private Livejournal friends-list as my RSS reader, I finally decided it wasn’t working for me. I ended up with a page flooded with one feed’s posts if something screwy happened with updates, and there were just too many of them. I started using Sage last night, and so far, so good. I highly recommend it. It’s clean, it’s simple, and I like the layout a lot. It’s also a lot better, in my case, than having friends’ posts intermingled with 28 Scientific American articles and 103932759 backdated NaNoWriMo blog entries which show up every so often because their feed is kind of funky, and I don’t necessarily want to publicize which feeds I read anyway (although I guess my big secret – my German bread fetish – is well-known by now…).

I exported the feed list to Google Reader as well, so that I can still read feeds on other computers, but eh… it’ll probably never get used and will be out of date by last week Tuesday. Just like this blog :)

Of course, none of you care, and I only mention it so that members of my mutual admiration society who know that I used to read your feeds via my friends’ list know that the lack of hits coming from there isn’t because I don’t love you… I just love you from somewhere else now ;)
