I don&#039;t in general hotlink - it&#039;s not nice, even if the average number of people who actually load the main page of my blog is excessively low. But since I have no idea what his reasons are for explicitly giving people a URL to hotlink from (he may prefer to have control over what gets out there directly), I&#039;m not going to argue with it. 

You, on the other hand, can go ride your high horse elsewhere.</description>
