27 weeks, 5 days.
I’ve posted much less this week than I have in previous weeks because, just as all of those pregnancy books have predicted, the bane of all pregnant women has returned:
Exhaustion.
And when I say exhaustion, I mean the kind that makes every bit of your body hurt and makes you want to pass out in a pile on the couch. Only your belly makes it very hard to just pass out anywhere, and then you decide you’re craving something so you cook it, only you’re too tired to cook, and so your feet ache, and you get grumpy, and you end up parked on the recliner miffed at the world.
Um, yeah. So I’m really tired.
Some of this has to do with my German class starting this week, and this other thing I’m doing on Wednesday nights, and me trying to deal with a bunch of administrative crap. Given that my summer was pretty laid-back (I didn’t really have to do much), I’m sure some of it is just the increase in activity, but seriously, I want to take a nap after just loading the dishwasher.
So anyhow, I’m tired. I’m now behind not only on e-mail but on blog posts and comments. The house is a mess. And I’m now about to go have lunch with my pregnant homies, which will undoubtedly make me want… a nap.
