From the “odd things in my stats” files: somebody clearly mailed a link to this post to a bunch of people using Yahoo and MSN accounts, because for no apparent reason, a bunch of people who appear to come from all over the world are visiting that post from their e-mail (and not visiting any others) and leaving. That post isn’t even that interesting. But I’d say well over half of the people who stumble upon my blog look at at least one other post before they leave, so I find it a little odd.
My current guess is that it’s being sent from some evil spam overlord to comment spammers (who don’t get through because Akismet is glorious, although you’d still expect that I’d see a great increase in the spam queue if this were the case), but if it’s not, I’m really curious as to in what context this post came up for so many people…
