Week 19: Ugh. Feelin’ yucky.

18 weeks, 4 days.

Well, in good news, I’ve gotten a lot done the last couple of days. This house may finally come together sooner rather than later (tonight I’m working on my study – we’ll see how that goes…), and there are now more meals in the freezer, which is always a good thing. Actually, this house better come together sooner, now that I think about it – some excellent friends of ours from grad school will be in town next week, and while the upstairs is more-or-less normal (if disorganized) at the moment, I’m still thinking I’d rather it be a bit better cleaned up. But a bunch of that is waiting on the disaster that is my study, so we’ll see.

In bad news, though, I felt like crap all day. Worse, I couldn’t tell if it was pregnancy-related, just the beginnings of a good old-fashioned cold, or general malaise. I couldn’t seem to find a good position to get comfortable anywhere, I’m congested, and I felt pretty run-down. Oddly enough, this evening, I now feel fine, so let’s hope it was just a passing thing. I really don’t want to have to be getting comfortable with the idea of a nasty cold without the benefit of decongestants right now (although I suspect it may happen to me later anyhow…).

But since I’m feeling better, I’m off to drink more water and try to tackle this study. If you never hear from me again, it probably means that I was attacked brutally by my books for having left them in piles for so long…
