14 weeks, 1 day.
Geez. So yesterday I posted about how wiped I was after thoroughly cleaning just the living room the day before. Now, granted, this was a serious cleaning, don’t get me wrong, but I was really tired afterwards. What I didn’t realize was how tired I’d be the next day – I was sore everywhere, and basically felt like crap. I haven’t felt that weak and tired since I had mono when I was 4, so I was a little worried, but given how well I slept last night and how much better I felt this morning, it was clearly just a combination of having way overdone it the day before, and not sleeping well the previous night (which was entirely my own fault). Also, it’s been pretty warm in our house – the back wall heats up like a brick oven, so if there’s no breeze through the house, it’s pretty uncomfortable – and I think I’ve been dehydrated. I have no idea how I’m supposed to get in enough water to take care of that – already I drink it by the vat and it actually sometimes makes me want to be ill – but I guess I’ll just keep trying.
So anyhow, I clearly have to stop these things before I get tired – the problem is that I get tired just, say, looking at the mop.
Anyway… in addition to being easily exhausted, I definitely have a visible little belly that I don’t have to be ashamed of for the first time in my life. It’s totally awesome. That kid is definitely in there somewhere
I’m actually starting to feel like I really am pregnant, and like we’re really going to parents. It’s the weirdest thing ever. Awesome, but weird.
