Day 57 – 8 weeks
Go me – I haven’t posted in over a week, partly because I just haven’t had much to say, and partly because I haven’t felt like it. My stomach has been fussy, I’ve been tired, and, frankly, anxiety about whether or not the ultrasound tomorrow will go well has kind of turned me off to dwelling on it in text.
But tomorrow is the ultrasound, and so finally there’ll be some news. I still haven’t decided whether or not I’ll post all of this crap if it doesn’t go well – probably not – but it’ll be good to know something more than “yeah, seems like I’m pregnant…”, even if it’s bad.
Not that I’m necessarily going to be posting a lot if it’s good, either – I apparently have something strange and excruciatingly painful wrong with my right hand which may or may not be pregnancy-related. They couldn’t X-ray the hand for obvious reasons, so the current guess is that it’s tendonitis and soft tissue irritation, but all I can say is that anything that touches the knuckle that hurts, I pretty much launch into the air. Such fun. I can type, but only briefly, and I don’t want to make it worse.
So on that note, I’m off. Here’s hoping tomorrow goes well.
